After attending the Reno Air Races in 2006, I knew then I wanted to participate. I was hooked! In 2007, I bought a race plane and practiced the skills I needed to fly with some of the best race pilots in the world. My advice to someone who is interested in one day racing is be prepared and practice. Show up ready to race, and I am sure, just as it is for me, the rewards will far outweigh the risks.
